The injustice behind you is preparing you for the invitation in front of you.
Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing. 1 Peter 3:9
What happened back there is not okay. And there is certainly a time to say so, or to stand up for yourself or the next person.
And…
We can’t let the past shadow the future. Turn the burn into a blessing. God specializes in bringing good from bad, and he’ll do it again.
In the meantime, BE THE BLESSING for someone else. Yours is coming.
