Connecting, and reconnecting with God starts with stopping.

Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.” (Psalm 46:10)

Slow down.

Take a breath.

Be still.

The physical and the spiritual are connected. If your body is loud and busy, it’s difficult to listen to your soul.

Making our bodies still isn’t about laziness. It’s about active listening. Listening to what’s going on inside us; Listening to the invisible realm just behind, around, under, and above everything that we’re so busy looking for and listening to. Practicing the habit of stillness unleashes the activity that matters most… the meaningful movements that put our top priorities into focus and usher in the purpose and productivity that will satisfy our souls. Otherwise, we’re just busy.

Be still.
