Momentum is the feeling/sense that things are moving in the right direction and the wind is at your back. Or, in sports, that you’re running downhill.
Momentum can be about pace, passion, profit, and the sense that something good has been happening and is continuing to happen.
Momentum usually exists for the following reasons:
- We’re focused on the main things
- We’re contributing something that matters to people
- More and more people are finding out about it
- We’re keeping what we do feeling fresh and important
- We’re overcoming the barriers that slow us down
