Sometimes not saying it is the position of strength.

He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, he did not open his mouth. Isaiah 53:7

I get it. There was injustice. They were wrong. Things were said and done and they need to be clarified and made right. I get it.

And, sometimes silence is your power play.

Maybe the best possible outcome is not defending the previous you, but becoming a new you. Perhaps the best way to overcome the evil is by growing into a more powerful, graceful, peaceful version of yourself. Maybe by letting the God of peace have his way with you, you’ll experience his power too.

Silence is confusing until resurrection. Then, people might see your silence for what it was: badass.
