I know, I know. Right in the middle of the madness I’m encouraging you to disconnect. Maybe not today, but soon.

Most first-world humans alive today are slaves to screens. I realize you’re using a screen to read this right now, but I’m leveraging this connection to urge you to disconnect. Not forever. For an hour. Then a day. Then, once in 2019, for a whole week!

Crazy? It seems so, but it’s not.

I’m working on a digital detox retreat for 2019 that will help you reset. In the meantime, schedule an hour that’s screen-free. Shut down all tech, and get out in nature… or get into a book… or play with children… or volunteer.

You don’t have to do it right now, but schedule it right now. Then think about a day after Christmas where you will disconnect for a whole day. It’s doable. I’ll remind you again, but make the decision now.

“I will disconnect for an hour a day… a day a month… a week a year.” That’s where we’re headed. For your health… for your wholeness… for your future.
