A disciple of Jesus, Philip, once told a friend, Nathaniel, about Jesus. Nate wasn’t into it.

“Just come and see,” Phil told Nate.

I’ve never argued with someone and convinced them that God loves them. Arguments are generally reserved for conversations you’re trying to win or instances you need to be right. But when you just love someone, you don’t care about winning or being right. You want them to win.

Better, you want them to know Jesus won, love wins, and your friends already won the eternal lottery because of Jesus.

“Don’t take my word for it. Just meet this Jesus guy!”

Life and faith are more simple than we make it.
