We have a creativity problem.

Scientific studies have proven that creative thinking has been steeply declining since 1990. Standardized tests, classroom conformity, and constant digital connectivity are killing human creativity.

We need a little more daydreaming.

I know, we hate to feel bored. Many of us would rather be in pain than be in silence, alone with our thoughts. But we need it.

Stillness… reflection… journaling… prayer… and daydreaming. These practices are not only good for the soul, but now we’re learning that they’re essential for our creative minds.

Shut off the screens and stare at the wall.
Less mindless conformity.
More mindful creativity.
