Just do one thing today.

“Where focus goes, energy flows.”

Sure, you may end up accomplishing 30 things, but focus on one greater objective. For instance, on Mondays, I focus on writing. Now, I may write a chapter for a book, or a talk I’m going to give, or a video I need to record. But I’m writing… creating… putting words together for inspiration and impact.

The things that destroy my writing days are: *

Looking at email in the morning

Checking social media

Running errands

Worrying about progress or future plans

So, to focus on the one, most important thing for that day, I have to kill or hold other distractions at bay. Simplify your thinking. There is one primary thing that deserves your attention today. One thing that matters over the rest. Spend an hour zeroing in on what that one thing is, if you have to. It save you far more time for productivity.
