It’s been ONE YEAR of the Chewables blog!

Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms. (Psalm 68:19)

So, even though blogging has been a thing for 20 years, I didn’t start until this past year. Late adapter? Perhaps. But I didn’t want to do it just because other writers were doing it.

A year ago, I started blogging so that I could keep speaking to friends who were used to hearing from me every week. I thought, “Since I’m no longer speaking to them live every week, how about I give micro-doses of inspiration everyday?” So I have.

I’m proud that I’ve posted everyday (with one or two technical hangups).

I’m proud that I’ve persevered when I wanted to stop.

I’m proud that I found a way to serve, even when my primary vehicle was taken from me.

And I’m grateful. I’m grateful for your support.

I’m grateful for your encouragement.

I’m grateful that you forward these emails and links to my posts to friends and family.

And I’m grateful that you’re still with me, a year later.

And we’re just getting started!

Year Two is going to be better than Year One. I’m going to keep posting six-days-a-week. I’m going to align “Chewables” under the Spirit Farm umbrella, for clarity and consistency of brand. My book, Jesus Winks, will come out — not to mention the podcasts and videos and retreats.

The vision is emerging, as we keep taking steps—together—one day at a time.
