“Don’t ask 100 questions when one will do.” —Peter Drucker

There is probably just one decision—and one question—that you need to focus on today.

We tend to get distracted by the myriad of possibilities and miss the one thing that’s right in front of us. It’s the NEXT thing. But we get paralyzed and overwhelmed when we’re distracted by all the other things.

“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one.” (Luke 10:41-42)

Less is more.

If your to-do list goes to 100, aggressively beat it back (or ignore it) until you establish and deal with #1. Why worry about #26 when only #1 is needed right now?
