There is manual of the United States Government Peace Corps used by its volunteers assigned to South America. In this manual is a page I found quite amusing. It was added to the manual specifically for those volunteers serving in the vast Amazon River jungles.
The page explains exactly…

What To Do If Attacked By An Anaconda:
The anaconda is the largest snake in the world. It is a relative of the Boa Constrictor. It grows to 35 feet in length and weighs between three and four hundred pounds. If you are attacked by an Anaconda…
1.     Do not panic. Do not run. The snake is faster than you are.

2.     Lie flat on the ground.

3.     Put your arms tight at your sides and your legs tight against one another.

4.     Expect the snake to nudge and climb over your body.

5.     Do not panic.

6.     Allow the snake to examine you and begin to swallow you from the feet end.

7.     Continue to lie perfectly still. The snake will begin to suck your legs into its body. This will take a long time.

8.     Reach for your knife—stealthily. When the snake has reached your knees, slowly, and with as little movement as possible, reach down, take your knife, and gently slide it into the side of the snake’s mouth, between the edge of its mouth and your leg. Then, quickly and forcefully, rip upwards, severing the snake’s head.

9.     Be sure your knife is sharp.

10.     Be sure you have your knife.

“In the world, you will have trouble.” —Jesus (John 16:33)

Let’s keep our knives sharp. I hope Chewables and the Spirit Farm Podcast serve you in staying sharp.
