God’s teaching. Are we learning?
In line at the DMV—a learning opportunity. Learning patience. Learning to care when we don’t feel like it. Learning to smile when someone else doesn’t. Learning to appreciate customer service when you encounter it.
When the tire’s flat—a learning opportunity. Peace is possible, even when we’re late. Even when it’s 100 degrees. Perspective: God is good, and most of our conveniences didn’t fail today.
When the deal falls through—a learning opportunity. We could have approached it differently. It wasn’t right, long term. There’s something better, or, we’ll be better when the next opportunity arrives.
God can teach us something true and helpful in any situation, from any person or place. Look for the learnings.
